~Straight up Country~

We received an envelop with a brochure last week about the upcoming Family reunion, the one I’ve been blogging about for next month.  It’ll be in Missouri City, TX (southeast Houston) Lake Olympia Marina.  I’m still searching about it on the internet, so far I’ve read that its closer to the most lavish houses you’ve ever seen…probably some celebrities stays in.  The members of the reunion commitee had rented a clubhouse and the olympic size pool.  I was shocked by the fees that we have to turn in by the 15th of July, it says children under 3 is Free and I only have one that is within that age group! I was like, shit! that would make about a hundred plus dollars that we have to pay.  Luckily, my mother-in-law lives somewhere close by and hopefully she would let us stay for a couple of days otherwise, we would have to make hotel reservations.  Our first summer family vacation is coming up next week starting on Friday the 23rd! I’m excited, at least just to get a break from work! Spend time enjoying the company of my dear family.  Oh, my mom is leaving for the Philippines this weekend, by herself…she was a little upset that they gave her just two weeks, she’s doing this because of her dad’s condition.  He is in need of a liver transplant and I didn’t know that there weren’t any hospitals in the philippines that can do such procedure! Wish that he was here in America, he can get it done.  You can’t really argue with his wishes, its pinoy pride and its his choice was to be able to be buried on Philippine soil and we all respect that.  My mom wanted me to go but I guess I can someday, I haven’t been there for quite a long time now.

I still can’t believe that my hubby is looking pretty sexy for the summer! He got abs…geez, he eats healthier now, loves fish, chicken and salads, no oily stuff…damn! and I still have to work a little more harder to get a better results, my problem are my friggin arms! shit! I’ve been joggin and using our Abs equipment and did some weights…my target is to look just right for the Reunion and since it involves swimming, I think u get the picture.   

I see I skipped a lot of days on my blog, my son had his 5th birthday 4 days ago, I was off last Friday–nothing much happened, me and my kids just went in our swimming pool…forgot to use sunblock but, it was ok the clouds did us a favor…lol.  When I came back to work Saturday, almost everyone noticed that I was a little pink-ish and they thought I was getting a fever…hehehe.  I sent an email to my cousin who celebrated his birthday yesterday(US time) in the philippines.  Ok…..*yawn* I need to go get some sleep, I just came from work–6:05am…I know that I won’t get enough when my 3 handfuls wake up in about 3 hours…grrrrr…I’m used to it.
